Legal Wins
IPRs: Dr. Hollowell has participated in 14 IPRs before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board: 9 settled, 5 Final Written Decisions with 5 winning decisions.
Litigation: Dr. Hollowell assisted in litigation a patent infringement case before the United States Court of Federal Claims under 28 U.S.C. § 1498(a); obtaining a winning decision in a Markman hearing and submitted an expert damages report indicating our client is due $36 million for sales based on the client’s patent.
SWIC 4 patents in under a year! Dr. Hollowell and her team at Hollowell Patent Group obtained 4 patents within 2 years for a local start-up Golf cart company, SWIC LLC, now looking at venture opportunities across the U.S. and the world!

Charitable Work
Pro bono: In April 2018, Dr. Hollowell wrote a patent, pro-bono, for a potentially life-saving device (a portable door barricade) invented by a student horrified by the mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School.
Release of ALS drug for a client’s son: Dr. Hollowell provided an integral role in the re-release of an ALS drug removed from the U.S. market due to a patent infringement suit. Subsequently, Dr. Hollowell was asked to be the Master of Ceremony for the JT Walk Stem Cell Research Grants Award Ceremony, awarding ~$500k raised for stem cell research related to ALS.
American Belarusian Relief Organization: Dr. Hollowell coordinated a local medical relief program for children living in the areas surrounding the damaged nuclear reactor at Chernobyl, Belarus through the American Belarusian Relief Organization; raising >125k in charitable donations and services. The children were awarded keys to the city!

Multiple Sclerosis Benefit: Dr. Hollowell served as Chair for the Hampton Roads Chapter MS Benefit Performance of the Great Russian Nutcracker by the Moscow Ballet, Chair 2009 and 2010; raising 28k and 35k respectively in charitable donations.
